1. Preheat oven to 375 deg F.
  2. Cream butter until light and fluffy
  3. Add sugar gradually and continue creaming
  4. Blend in unbeaten eggs and vanilla; mix well
  5. Sift together all-purpose flour and salt; add to creamed mixture and blend well
  6. Put mixture into cookie press; press through unto ungreased baking sheet forming circle. (Donít leave open space in center of circle.)
  7. Place 1/4 tsp of jam or marmalade in center of each.
  8. Sprinkle top with finely chopped nuts.
  9. Bake for 10-12 mins.
